November Saltwater Forecast Overview

November might be the time when many fishing activities slow down in other places, but not in Florida! The warm waters of this southern state make it a haven for various fish species all year round.

The coral reefs come to life, hosting a diverse collection of underwater creatures, including Snappers, Groupers, Hogfish, and many more colorful species. The Florida Keys offer unique opportunities for out-of-season fishing, and the presence of Tuna offshore is a tempting incentive.

Miami is popular for its Sailfish in the Gulf Stream, and Mahi Mahi are found all along the coast, making trolling trips a great way to catch a trophy fish.

Along the Gulf Coast, inshore fishing takes the spotlight, with Redfish growing bigger and bigger in the shallow waters. The addition of Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Sheepshead make for a variety of catches, whether you're fishing in Boca Grande, Tampa Bay, PCB, or Pensacola.

November Freshwater Forecast Overview

As the cooler weather sets in, the excitement in Central Florida among anglers reaches new heights. The search for trophy largemouth bass begins with live wild shiners becoming a go-to bait for many.

Florida boasts a number of lakes that consistently produce trophy bass, including Lake Toho, Lake Kissimmee, and the Butler Chain and Conway Chain. These areas offer not just deep-water action, but also a wealth of docks that can be fished and hold great bass. Meanwhile, Johns Lake is a must-visit destination for those seeking trophy bass, known for its exceptional schooling action and potential for large catches during the spawn.

And let's not forget, Central Florida is also home to some fantastic crappie fishing.
