Well here is the latest fishing report from Mosquito Lagoon.
BIG REDS, BIG REDS and more BIG REDS.
This has so far been a great summer for the Big Reds in the 15# to 35#
range.
I have been on a school of 200 to 300 of these Big Reds for almost 4 months
now and it
continues to be great. Just seeing that many fish in a group is exciting but
being able to
follow them and hunt them and continually see them finning and rolling and
turn a 10 foot
square area reddish maroon color for 4 to 5 hours is really what it is all
about.
Our average
catch is 10 to 15 of these reds a day and they really pull drag. Most of
them take 10 to 15
minutes to boat and you are really tugging on them with 20# braided line.
They are real
brutes. The real fun and skill is in tracking them and making good accurate
casts to them
many times. It is something that most people get better with as the day goes
on with a
little coaching from yours truly.
I want you to be a better angler when you
leave and will
give you as much positive coaching as you need.. This challenge is what
makes it
interesting and fun along with the visual experience of seeing that many big
Redfish within
5 feet of the boat many times.. It doesn't get much better than this.
Mother
nature has been
doing her part also this year and has been giving us excellent conditions
almost every day
the past 2 months. What a season so far. Our best trip boated 27 Reds to 36
lbs. with most
of them running 20 plus pounds on a half day trip.. Come on down or up and
get you some..
I do guarantee Redfish or NO-PAY! No strings attached ever, and right
now that is absolutely no problem..
Mosquito Lagoon kicks butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
